Dear Well Wisher of CLAPS,

The Living Places

As you are aware, the claps initiative is funded by the parents of CLAPS COMMUNITY and the facilities include the family living apartment, the special adults’ living space and some common amenities. These are exclusively for the CLAPS COMMUNITY.

The Facilities

However, the work, the entertainment, the health care, the sensory therapy, the hydro therapy, the farm therapy space, the art therapy, the Yoga Hall, etc is being created with the whole Tiruvallur special citizens in mind.

The Trust

While CLAPS COMMUNITY was looking out for a Special Organisation to take up this responsibility SMILE (SMILE SPECIAL CITIZEN’S WELFARE TRUST) came to know and expressed their interest in creating the facility. The facility has been named as ACCESS (Ability Centre for Citizens with Special Needs).

The Registration

SMILE SPECIAL CITIZENS WELFARE TRUST is registered under the income tax act and having registration 12A and 80G (Regd. No. AAXTS9331FF20206).

AN APPEAL

To Individuals – Smile Trust has plans and actvities for the welfare of Special Citizens and your contributions big and small will be a blessing to the special citizens in general.

To Corporate – This is a genuine and sincere effort to bring a change in the lives of so many special children and their families and the corporate have a lot of areas of help that they can provide to this effort. Individual facilities can be sponsored by corporate.

One can equate the construction of this space to the construction of a TEMPLE, CHURCH or MOSQUE. A place of worship is not constructed by one person or a small group of people, but, it is created with the small money collected from the people of the whole city, state, country and the world.

Every drop of collection will be the blessing of the people who contributed. More the drops, more the blessings…..
